RIPE MAURITIUS LTD
Created in June 2019,
RIPE(Research Institute of Permaculture Design and Ecology) Mauritius is a holistic project which solves environmental and social issues.
RIPE Mauritius comprises of a demonstration site, permaculture farm, learning center, incubator, eco-factory, zero waste & organic lifestyle shop and organic seed bank.
We create youth employment and empowerment in permaculture design and ecology while manufacturing high quality GMO-free, chemical-free organic food, materials and products.
RIPE Mauritius was a finalist for the Climate Launchpad in Mauritius in October 2019 and at the Climate Launchpad Global Grand Final in Amsterdam in November 2019. It also bagged the Blue Champion Award by the Commission de L'Ocean Indien in December 2019 for the Category "Best Entrepreneur".
